BigBang/Walibi Schtroumpf Theme Park *PICS INSIDE*

There used to be a Smurf theme park located in France. Opened as Big-bang Schtroumpf (1989-1990), which closed and re-opened under new company "Walibi", Walibi Schtroumpf (1991-2002). I have been searching the internet and have gathered together some photos of the theme park. See the following link for all the photos.

yeah, shame the park is no longer a smurfs theme.
It would have been great to visit, I think especially in 89/90 when it first opened as Big Bang Schtroumpf. As it seems once Walibi company took over they cut back of Smurfs theme and used the orange walibi character a lot.

I love all the little smurfy scenes and the mushroom house display.

I never knew this place exhisted. But I guess, how would I when I live in the U.S. Its like a real life mushroom village. With little houses and everything. Neat. Thanks for sharing.

WOW thats awesome , thanks so much for posting pics I really enjoyed them .
In the US , Kings Island (an amusment park ) had a boat ride with a Smurf theme ; you rode a log boat through a tunnel and they had a Smurf village on both side , cool part was some Smurfs could move thier head, arms, etc
I don't think they have the ride anymore ,if they do its not Smurf themed maybe if they get popular again they'll put it back up-Jimmy

yeah this park would have been great to visit. I haven't added any new photos for a while.. might have to do another search to see if I can find anymore. I still really want one of those smurfs!! They'd have to be out there somewhere wouldn't you think.. somewhere in Europe.. there must be a warehouse probably housing them all.
