My Collection will be on exibition!

Hey everybody! It has been a while since I last checked in. Just wanted to share with Pete and everybody that to celebrate the Smurfs 50th San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the city that I currently live in, decided to make some type of exibition. I am letting the city borrow my collection of 700 smurfs and over 200 other smurf pieces. They are checking to see what museum will house the collection. They are also making contact with museums across the country so the collection will travel. I agreed to this only if the collection will be insured and guaranteed to be returned to me in the same condition. This is very exciting as I will be very proud to have my collection in different museums all over Mexico! They asked me to plan its arrangement. If anybody has any ideas to make this something that will make Papa Smurf proud, please let me know! Looking forward to some ideas as this is barely taking off.

I assume you mean the actual display?

- a big wall cabinet display with little cubby holes maybe? you could have lighting or windows that they could peep out of or that people could peep into...:face45:

- have a circular area with different levels and set them up on the levels so people can walk around it

just ideas...

Thats great news Charly, when is the display going to start? Oh and please please take some pics and post them so we can all see....Good idea getting insurance, can you imagine all those little kids when they see all those lovely blue smurfs...:luv: :luv:
