Party Smurfs are Here!

We got some of the new Smurfs in today - still waiting on two figures, so not shipping just yet, but wanted to note that the bottle and drum are not blank as shown in marketing images to date - the are actually both stamped "Happy Smurfday!"

I expect there will be promos for both of these Smurfs where other print appears in place of "Happy Smurfday!"

The DVD's should be here in under 2 weeks!! Watch for marketing for that soon after - the street date is 2/26, but I will have them early through special arrangement...

:face36: Hi Pete Its been about three year since I have posted anything. I got rid of my home phone and thus my internet access. I still don't have a home phone but I am connected by wireless internet via my work or my neighbor not shure which one. I just ordered the new party smurfs, dvd the holloween smurfs several key chains and a few other things. I will send the order tomorrow. glad to be back:face36: I don't see any of the old group from when I was posting. Hi again everyone I just looked at the new smurfs again I wasn't aware that I also got 8 smurf figures also. Guess I should have looked and read better the first time when I orderd them. I guess I just got a plus to what I had already ordered. :)) Although I am still pleased with my purchase I was slightly disapointed in the 50th anniversey after the 40th one was so nice. Bill

Its always a bonus when you get more then you expect, I love when I sometimes go to my clothes and find forgotten money..:luv: Now I've only restarted collecting over the last say 3years, what were the 40th anni ones? Can you post a pic...maybe a pic of some of your collection as well...:))

Sorry everyone I don't have any pic's of my collection but I will tell you it is quite extensive. I tried listing all the things I have in a diffrent thread than this one if you have a catalogue most of my things sould be in there. I guess I need to go get me a camara so I can post the pic's. Bill:))

Hi Guys, I am so sick of Schleich doing this to me I could scream. Every single year for 10 years or so, I have gone through this. Schleich is *always* late shipping my Smurfs. Always, every single year, and every year it's "I'm so sorry, excuse, excuse" and then they do it again. Really ticks me off, because I make promises to my members based on what they say, putting full faith in what they tell me, and then they don't some through.

This year I received the Smurfs when I first posted here and said so January 31st. For once it looked like they did right by us.

Then I realized they only sent 6 of the 8. They promised the rest were coming, and all of February rolled by with nothing. At one point the promised 2/18/08, and then that turned into 3/18/08. That ticked me off. I sent them a nasty email, and lo and behold we got them 2 days later. I am told "we fell through the cracks." That is completely unacceptable to me, and I just fired off a letter to Sam Armstrong (heads up Schleich North America) about it. Don't know that anything will change, but what else can I do, they have a monopoly on Smurfs.

To all members waiting, I am so sorry. Melissa took home Smurfs so she can start packing up orders to ship Monday. We have several hundred orders to get out, but we expect to get them all out early next week.

I got the new party smurfs today. And what do you know I did'n't get the four things that I origanally thought I was suposed to get. What was it stickers, a catalogue, an album and a display card. Don't even know where to let Pete Know. I'll figure it out. I usually get an order form with my order I didn't get it either. I had made a copy of what I ordered. I also got the Monster set ( holloween) I also got the native american smurfs and three key chains. Will post the pic's on myspace. Have a smurfy day. Bill:))
