Do Smurf PVC's contain lead paint? Does Smurfs PVC contain phalates?

The 2" PVC Smurfs figurines currently made by Scleich, whether made and painted in Germany or China, do not contain lead, phalates or any other dangerous substances. Safety is a prime concern at Schleich and all their products undergo vigorous testing. Their products meet and exceed all safety standards for both North America and Europe.

(Note: Schleich products have always been made using materials which at the time of production were classified as safe. A PVC formulation change was made in 2002/2003 to comply with new European Union rules that banned the PVC softener in use at the time. Vintage Smurfs predating this change should be reserved for collecting, they should not be given to children who may put them in their mouths.)

Can you send me a catalog?
We do not print our own catalog. All the Smurfy stuff we have for sale can be viewed in the Smurf Shop's on-line catalog. A free Schleich mini-catalog is available with every order. This catalog shows only those Smurfs in current production.

Are the Smurfs you sell old or new?
The Smurfs that are in current production are new. Everything else is out of production and can be anywhere from months old to 40+ years old. If you want to buy brand new Smurfs, view the category New Smurf Figurines using the category chooser pull-down menu located in the upper right-hand corner of each page.

Where do you ship? Can you ship to my Country?
Currently we ship to the United States (including APO, FPO and territories), Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, the European Union, Hong Kong, Japan, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, and South Korea. We're sorry, but due to the high rate of lost packages, we will no longer ship to South Africa.
