Our contact at Infogrames tells us there was/is some talk of a Schleich produced promo PVC figurine to release with this game. Possibly a Smurf in a race car (the Supers that came out last year, with promo markings???) but none of this is for sure. We do hope it happens! For info and screen shots of the 3-2-1 Smurf! game, visit: http://www.esmurfs.com/smurfs-321smurf.html AOL Click here Stay tuned for more info!! ============================= CHRISTMAS AROUND THE CORNER! ============================= Smurfs make the greatest stocking stuffers and there are dozens of Christmas related figurines available right now: http://search.cartserver.com/search/search.cgi?cartid=a-6296&category=Smurfs&maxhits=20&keywords=christmas+winter AOL Click Here We just got in a few 20031 Mailman with the holly on the envelope, what a great Christmas gift! We also have the rare Smurfette with Candy Cane ornament and rare Smurf with gift and cane, and new lower prices on the rarest of all; praying Smurf and Smurfette, and the Smurf with his head through a wreath! There are lots of low end Christmas Smurfs too... You can also use the search to find an appropriate Smurf for anyone - just look for their hobby, career or favorite sport! ===================== NEW COLOR VARIATION? ===================== Our latest shipment of 20458 Newsman was a little odd...the Smurf in the upper corner of the paper was black and white, instead of blue! Was this a fluke? We are waiting to see! The first runs of this figurine have a blue Smurf printed on the paper, but the image is often off center from the black outline. Perhaps they decided to forget the blue for the sake of clarity? Only time will tell... ================================= HAVE YOU BEEN TO TALK 'N' TRADE? ================================= Talk 'n' Trade is our free chat forum where we encourage you to buy, sell and trade your own Smurfy goods! Many great deals have gone down on this board...collections are regularly brought out of storage and posted for sale here, a great place to pick up a bargain, talk and meet some other Smurf nuts! Visit the forum at: http://www.landofmarbles.com/cgi-bin/forum/dcboard.cgi?az=list&forum=SmurfVillage&conf=Smurfs AOL Click here ================ POPULARITY POLL ================ Which of the new for 2000 Smurfs was the favorite? Based on our sales we figure this is the countdown, from least popular, to most popular. 20462 Caretaker 20467 Chimney Sweep 20461 Leather Trousers 20468 Climber 20465 Fireman 20464 Studious Smurf 20463 Smurf with Sandwich And the #1 New 2000 Smurf is: 20466 Diver Without question, all 8 figurines were among the year's best sellers. The Super Smurfs tended to be ordered in sets of 4, but we got slightly more orders for 40258 Schoolbench talking and 40259 Smurfette Schoolbench. As far as the playsets go, it's a dead tie...they are nearly almost ordered in pairs, and when they are not...it's just as likely to be the school as the playground that is selected. The SCCI released a similar survey in their newsletter, which is based on member voting, not sales. They voted 20466 Diver #1 favorite. The runner up was 20461, surprising, considering how low it was on our list. SCCI members also voted 40260 Principal as their favorite Super Smurf. =================== SMURFY GIVE-A-WAY! =================== We're trying something new :) On our Talk 'n' Trade board is a message titled "October Smurfy News Give-a-way."
