Default Kings Island/Dominion Smurf Ride *PICS INSIDE*

I thought I would share these photos further for Pete and other collectors who may check this forum. I have recently searched the web and found photos of the old Smurfs ride at the American Kings Island and Kings Dominion theme parks. The smurf rides were in these parks from around the mid-80s until early 90s. Smurf Mountain at Kings Dominion was a slow moving train ride that went through a mountain with smurfy scenes. The Smurfs Enchanted Voyage at Kings Island was a boat ride through a tunnel of smurfy scenes. It would be great to hear from anyone who actually went on these rides.. or even better, anyone who actually has photos in their family album!

Here are the 12 photos I have managed to find:

Talking Smurfs from King's Island

I know exactly where a few of them are. They're about 10 at a house in the area around Cincinnati, know as Indian Hill. I saw them there a year ago. I laughed pretty hard becuase I remember riding that ride many of times becuase I loved the smurfs, and still do!

thanks for sharing that story. I would love to see a photo or get in contact with the owner of these smurfs to see some photos.

From what I have read online, a lot of the smurfs were sold to a collector and they apparently displayed them around his swimming pool.
