Tomorrow makes 8 years I've been at this - it's been great, I want to thank all my Smurfy friends past and present for the Smurfy good times.

I don't recall if I mentioned this here - when I visited with Schleich at the 2007 Intl. Toy Fair in NYC, I learned that the Smurf movie has been pushed back to 2009 This means it will miss their 50th Anniversary, but I am still hopeful we will see more of the Smurfs in the US in 2008. That is their 50th anniversary so they should be able to use that pretext to reintroduce them for a encore, movie or no movie. Hopefully to movie in 2009 will be capping off a successful reintroduction. The Licensing Fair is sometime tis Summer, and I hope IMPS will be there lining up licensing deals for new US merchandise. I will let you know...
