Hello from Belgium

Hello everybody ,

I appear, me me call Laurent and I come from a country almost so small as the village of the smurfs which is called Belgium.

I am proud to be a fellow countryman of Peyo and I have even had the luck to meet him for a dedication .

I collect figurines and I like very much the advertising figurines.

I am moreover in connection with the company IMPS to make one smurfs advertising agent for my company (the dream of many collectors I think is to have his own advertising smurf not?).

I am 35 years old, I have a son who is going be 8 years old in 9 days and I have a small extraordinary woman whom I like very much .

Last thing, I do not speak very well about English then sorry beforehand for the faults .

Have a nice day,

Re: Hello from Belgium

Welcome Laurent

It's nice to meet someone from "the home of the smurfs" and your English is very good so do not worry about that.

Please tell us a bit about your advertising smurf and maybe even a photo as it would be great to see. I would love to hear about your collection too.

Nice to hear from you

Dyar

Re: Hello from Belgium

Hello Diar,
Thank you for your reception.
At the moment, I do not know how to say to you about it more on my advertising schtroumpf because I waits for an answer of IMPS.
I sent the photos of several models and they have to see if they still have the possibility of making them.
But as soon as it will be made, I would put photos on the forum.
What do you want to know about my collection?

Hello Laurent, welcome to the board.

It is alsways good to meet more smurf collectors especially from the smurf's homeland.

I visited Belgium earlier this year to attend Schroumpf Passion which was a lot of fun and just so many smurfs.

Goodluck for your companies promotional smurf.

You came to smurf passion? I went there also.

Just wanted to know if you have been collecting for long and what are your favourite smurfs in your collection?

Re: Hello from Belgium

Hello,
It has been approximately 2 years since I collect.
I received many smurfs when I was small and as my mother throws nothing I got back everything.
I thus had easy to have many smurfs of the 70s in good condition because I was a quiet little boy and who broke nothing lol.
I like very much the advertising smurfs and also all those where we see their feet.
Attention, I am not a fetishist of feet lol.
I am pressed to receive the next series Halloween, I find them too beautiful.
I think that Schleich has a good idea to make a series for subject. In when a series on the subject of Christmas to hang in the fir tree?

Laurent.

LOL...I think as a small boy I broke everything. I still think my mother hasn't forgiven me for using her record collection as frisbees down the drive way when I was 7

Welcome Laurent!
I had to laugh when I read that you like barefoot smurfs! That was so cute! I also like those & I am not a fetishist either! I hope you enjoy this forum- there are lots of friendly folks here. Your English is fine- it must be difficult to write in another language! Thank goodness I don't have to try to write to you in Belgian! Then you would laugh at me!
Anyway, welcome to our village!
