Then Baby Smurf crawled out after him with pink frosting all over his face.

"Baby!" Cried Papa, "Look Out!"

Baby looked up and saw the dust devil whirling and twirling closer and closer. He wiggled his fingers in it's general direction, and it suddenly died down as quickly as it appeared, with just a few leaves blowing in lazy circles where it had been a moment before.

"Papa," Brainy screamed, "did you see that? Baby just..."

"Not now brainy, we've got to help Greedy! Come give me a hand!"

Papa and Brainy began rolling Greedy towards Papa's lab when Brainy tripped, shoving Greedy out before him!!

"Help me! Oh dear Smurf, someone please help me!" Greedy yelled as he bounced and rolled downhill, gathering speed.

"Great Smurf!" exclaimed Papa, "he's headed for...

OUR STORY SO FAR.......

There was a village of small blue people, just 3 apples high, who lived in a mushroom village in the forest. One day, their leader Papa Smurf was checking out a shipment of figurines he got for his collection from MushroomVillage.com when suddenly he thought he heard the flap of giant wings. Just as he was sure they were getting closer, the door to Papa's mushroom flew open and a very excited Brainy swept in followed by a marmite from down under. "Papa Smurf, Papa Smurf!" screeched Brainy, "Feathers is here and she has another package from someone called 'BABY' ...what is a baby ? what can we do with this package? Just then Papa Smacked Brainy knocking his glasses askew. "Brainy!" He yelled, "Get a hold of yoursmurf! One question at a time! Now, to answer your first question, a baby is a very young adult! To answer your second question, we could do many things with this package, but why don't we just try opening it?"

"Sorry Papa, I just get so excited when Baby sends us packages! If he has Feathers deliver it from just a few mushrooms over, it must be very important! Let's go see what it is!!" The three of them leave Papa's house. The marmite is looking around trying to remember how he got there and wonders what all these little blue creatures are and what is a baby? "Uh if I may ask.." he says, "Where the heck am I and what ARE you creatures?!?!?" Brainy and Papa looked at each other, and Papa said, "Excuse us, marmite. We were so excited about Baby's message that we didn't see you there. hey, since you're here, why not give us a ride over to Feathers, and we'll explain our exsistance on the way!"
They hoped on his back, but the Marmite decided to fly to Gargamel's instead. Papa and Brainy were trapped in its claws tightly.

"What do we do now, Papa Smurf", Brainy said screaming his smurf out.

"I'll think of something," he said.

As they approached Gargamel's hovel, they could hear the evil wizard cackling his all too familiar evil laugh.

"I have you now. And soon I'll gather all the others Smurfs too. And when I do I'm going to let you all go again! So I can catch you again! And let you go again! And catch you again! And let you go again! And catch you again! And let you...

Suddenly, Lazy awoke with a jerk, startling Brainy who was rushing by...

"Brainy! You wouldn't believe the dream I just had! You and Papa were in it! And Feathers delivered a message from baby, or maybe he delivered a baby? And Gargamel was in it too! And a clawed, flying marmite - say, uh, Brainy, what the smurf is a marmite?"

"I can't explain that to you right now Lazy," Brainy replied. I have to get to Greedy's house right away! Smurfette just told me he baked a three layer Smurfberry upside Down Cake with pink frosting and cherries and cream. Want to join me?"

"No. I'm just going to smurf forty more smurfs, ' yawned Lazy.

Brainy stopped for a few minutes to give Grouchy, Poet and Vanity a sermon. He was of course thrown out of the village again. On his way back he met a troll named Nordox and he was surprised. Brainy said "Haven't I smurfed you somewhere before?"
"Uh I don't think so," replied the troll confused as he spiked up his neon pink hair.
"Oh I know!" said Brainy, "You're the one that's always trying to impersonate a Smurf on eBay, and that's a big no-no. As Papa Smurf always was surprised. Brainy said "Haven't I smurfed you somewhere before?"

" Brainy could be heard screaming as Nordox drop kicked him back to the village! *BAM* he landed and skidde a few inches, "well at least I didn't have to walk back this time" He thought to himself. Just then a bunch of smurfs were running by all yelling and screaming. Brainy was still stunned from being punted twice so quickly and took a second to get back onto his feet without falling over. He shook his head to clear his head and adjusted his glasses just in time to see a dust devil coming down the main part of the village. The dust devil hadn't hit any mushrooms but was headed right for thehouse where Greedy lives. "Oh no, the three layer Smurfberry upside Down Cake with pink frosting and cherries and cream" cried Brainy running towards Greedys house, and yelling for Papa Smurf to come and help him smurf the cake back to his house before Greedy would get his little hands on it... But it was too late!! There was Greedy rolling out of his house, belly so huge he couldn't move under his own accord. "Oh no!" Cried Papa. "Greedy, get the Smurf out of there, the dust devil is heading your way!!!!"

But poor greedy could only lay on his stomache, wiggling his arms and legs. "Smurf! Somebody Smurf me!" Then Baby Smurf crawled out after him with pink frosting all over his face.

"Funny, This hole was never this wide. A gopher could never dig fast enough to get in," Papa Smurf said.

"Maybe it was a big gopher, with a little big set of teeth gnasjhng and smurfing away like a boa constrictor.," Brainy thought out loud.

The other smurfs looked very scared.

"BRAINY!!!" Papa said looking very irritated.

"Heh heh. Sorry Papa Smurf," Brainy said sheepishly.

"So how do we get him out?" Smurfette asked.

"I know," Hefty Smurf replied. "We can... "....

"Help!" he screamed.

Papa and the other ran as fast as they could.

"Funny, This hole was never this wide. A gopher could never dig fast enough to get in," Papa Smurf said.

"Maybe it was a big gopher, with a little big set of teeth gnasjhng and smurfing away like a boa constrictor.," Brainy thought out loud.

The other smurfs looked very scared.

" He has eaten the whole cake, he might be too heavy for Feathers", Papa repiled.

Papa, Brainy, Smurfette and Hefty continued to stand around Greedy trying to think what they could do. Greedy was stuck in the hold head first, feet sticking up in the air and kicking around!

Meanwhile, at the other end...

Greedy blinked as his eyes became accustomed to the dark. He realized that the pebbles breaking loose as he squirmed fell a long way before hitting bottom. Soon enough he found himself looking down into a great underground cavern!

"This is no gopher hole!" Greedy exclaimed.

*PoP!*

Hefty fell backwards with Greedy on top of him. "There you go little buddy!" Greedy said, "you were wedged in there good and tight, but then again, they don't call me Hefty Smurf for nothing!"

"Greedy, what is it?" asked Papa, observing the look of shocked surprise still on Greedy's face.

"Oh Papa! that gopher hole broke through into a great cavern!" Greedy said.
