How High Will it Go?
OK, let's have another ebay "How High Hill it Go?" contest!
I have a 20136 Pumpkin (no face) marked Portugal, Wallace Berrie, and with a mustard (Portugal) paint dot!
Here's a bit of trivia re: mustard Paint Dots - PortugalPaint is always Matte. Suzanne Lipschitz of the SCCI kept her Portugal Paint dots displayed together, and this really makes it obvious - they have a finish not unlike bisque porcelain - gather yours together, and you will observe this too.
So I always thought of the Portugal paint as being a bit "special!"
Well, I'll shoot Gary an e-mail - he mentioned recently he was trolling eBay looking for a good contest candidate - I'll let him come back and report the auction we'll be watching!!

Hobbes: Don't you think that's a pretty silly and irresponsible way to live?
Calvin: What a pretty afternoon...

Re: How High Will it Go?
Thinking about bidding on these ones myself, be a nice kick to my collection...
So I'm going to sit back and watch, and put my guess in later...
It will be good to have a look at the guesses everyone puts in and might give me some inside information on how much I could be looking at...

Re: How High Will it Go?
Neat auction - I was about to pass it off as a typical lot of older Smurfs when I spotted the orange surprise bag hidden in there! This could go pretty high because of him...

Re: How High Will it Go?
Since you had to bid by yesterday, and couldn't go over, does that mean you win your own contest? RIGGED! ;)
