This is the seller of whom I spoke of in my previous post, he takes Schleich Astro Smurfs - puts on bully helmets and then swears to the rafters they are real and authentic and that they used to come that way!!!

It's the first bidder on the last 2 auctions that you really have to watch. Not only do they sell fakes but they will lie about them being some rare promo from Switzerland or somewhere when they have just been painted different colours and won about a week ago from another seller on ebay. Buyers beware when buying from that seller.

I have checked out his auctions before, and thought they have been dodgy.. its amazing he can still get away with it and have postive feedback?

Yeah Andrew I have noticed his auctions as well, but about a year plus back I bought all 3 supposed real versions fo Astro from this seller. When I got them I emailed him and said the first 2 were faked, he said no that they came that way from Schleich as well. EVERYONE I asked afetr that said no the Schleich Astro NEVER came with Bully helmets!!
I emailed him again and he gave some song and dance about it and would never take them back or make good on it.

Hi guys, yep unfortunately this seller has been around for quite a while and often sells very dubious smurfs. He is definitely on my list of "no Thank You" sellers.

This is one of the problems when items such as the astro helmets become available and there will always be collectors who get caught by it.
